6005 belongs to the Al-Mg alloy, it is the most widely used corrosion-resistance aluminum, especially for construction usage. It is the most promising alloy which can be polished, but not be heat treated.

Applications
6005 aluminum sheet is mainly used to make small load parts for which work in a liquid or gaseous medium, such as fuel tanks, gasoline or lube conduit, a variety of liquid containers and other deep-drawing small load parts. 6005 aluminum wire is used for making rivets. 6005 aluminum sheet can also be used for manufacturing aircraft fuel tanks, fuel lines, and transportation vehicles, vessels, sheet metal parts, instruments, lights bracket and rivets, hard-wares, shells of electrical appliances, and so on.
